Recruiting Now! Class 1/ Class 2 Hiab Driver with Hook Experience

Due to our success and expansion, we are now looking to expand our senior lorry loader team. We are interested in hearing from you if you are an experienced crane lifting operator or Appointed Person / Slinger Signaller / Banksman / Lift plans/ HIAB driver / Operator.

• Cabins, Containers & modular buildings
• Structures, Sculptures
• Construction materials
• Unbalanced, Abnormal & Wide loads
• Pillars, poles, metal structures etc
• Familiar with double stacking containers and cabins – so a fear of heights is not ideal!

Hook lifting experience is essential (grab lifting alone will not be enough experience for our requirement)

We have excellent staff retention and can offer full uniform, 20 days holiday plus all bank holidays and bonus scheme for the right people.

Often early starts with occasional overnights and odd weekends (at enhanced rates) will be expected – so you must be flexible and willing to spend some nights in the cab when required.

Overnights £25 per night

You will have a sound geographical knowledge of the UK and have worked as a professional HIAB operator driver with a full DCPC

The vehicle you are driving is Class 2 but may often be attached to a trailer; therefore, a Class 1 license is helpful but not essential for this role.

Any additional skills or previous training such as Slinger Signaller / Banksman is helpful but not essential.

We will also consider drivers with plenty of recent driving experience that feel they may like to progress their career to become a Hiab Driver.
