It is the policy of Sussex Transport Ltd to provide you, our customers with a high quality service that adheres not only to contractual requirements but also to our own high standards. We recognise that in order to provide and maintain a consistently high quality in the work we undertake that we need to continually train and develop staff, systems, procedures along with constantly update our fleet and facilities.

FORS is a funded, voluntary certification scheme aimed at ensuring that fleet operators work lawfully and to best practice by meeting the FORS standard.	All our drivers hold valid CSCS cards ensuring complete competency in all we do.
We are proud members of the RHA and operate under the RHA terms and conditions (available on request).	The United Kingdom Warehousing Association is the UK’s only trade association dedicated to serving the vitally important warehousing and logistics sector.
Safe Contractor approval means we are dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and compliance.	The British International Freight Association (BIFA) is the trade association for UK-registered companies engaged in international movement of freight by all modes of transport, air, road, rail and sea. BIFA members adopt a code of conduct, and trade under a nationally accepted set of Standard Trading Conditions that are backed in the insurance sector.
It is essential for any lifting and loading work that we operate in accordance with the standards set by the HSE through The Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers (ALLMI).	FIATA is the largest non-governmental organisation in the field of transportation. Its influence is worldwide. Essentially the global equivalent of BIFA [above].
A waste carrier’s licence is a permit that is required for the transportation of waste by businesses. Sussex Transport and many of our sub contractors hold this license to ensure we can legally transport your waste.
