Course Objectives
To enable delegates to safely select, fit and use abrassive wheels in the workplace
Target Delegates
For delegates who use angle grinders, bench mounted grinders and cut-off saws in the workplace.

Health and Safety legislation covering abrasive wheels in the workplace
Type of abrasive wheels
How abrasive wheels are made
Abrasive wheel markings
Wheel and machine inspections
Safe mounting of abrasive wheels
Safe use of abrasive wheels in the workplace
Duration
1/2 day to full day dependant on candidate numbers
Certification
Successful candidates will be issued with certification valid for up to 5 years duration.
Course Assessment
Each candidate will be required to successfully complete a theory and practical assessment.
