Recently, we were called to assist a well-known motor dealer in Crawley who was gearing up to launch an exciting new franchise. The challenge? A 8-tonne sales pod had been loaded onto the delivery vehicle in a not-so-perfect orientation and needed urgent rectification.
Our task was to offload, rotate, and position the pod in a confined space, all while adhering to strict ceiling height restrictions and lift permits due to the site’s proximity to Gatwick Airport. This job required not just one but two of our hiab lorry loaders, operated by our skilled lifting team. The tandem lift was a feat of precision and coordination, demonstrating the importance of teamwork in overcoming logistical challenges.
