This week Sussex Transport is moving an 18 meter ”dragon”… A miniature train and three carriages!
The ‘’Green Dragon’’ is based at Littlehampton Railway, the oldest 12.25” gauge railway in Britain having been in operation since 1948.
The engine, carriages and track were lifted from their base in Littlehampton, West Sussex using one of our HIAB vehicles.
According to their face book page www.facebook.com/LittlehamptonRailway it sounds as if the railway is struggling to continue – which is sad news for fans of the local attraction.
