One of our Sprinter vans made a delivery of exhibition equipment and assisted with setting up at the Learning Disability Today event in Islington, London last week.
The event, held on 29th November was open to people with learning disabilities, carers, relatives and support workers as well as managers of residential and community-based services, project workers, social care staff, carers, trainers, special educational needs school teachers, housing officers and nurses.
The Business Design Centre which hosts this, as well as many other events and exhibitions, started life in 1862 as the ‘’Agricultural Hall’’ when the architect Frederick Peck created an imposingly large enclosed space, the span of which was greater than both its contemporaries at the time, Crystal Palace and Alexandra Palace.
Today The Business Design Centre claims to be London’s most stylish exhibition venue, playing host to over 80 exhibitions and 250 conferences every year. It is also the permanent home to over 100 businesses that occupy the offices & showrooms. The BDC Conference Centre London attracts in excess of half a million visitors each year.
