This month sees another more unusual haulage job from Sussex Transport. We have been requested to collect an industrial diesel locomotive from Hollycombe Working Steam Museum in Hampshire on a HIAB truck.
Hollycombe Working Steam Museum is based in Liphook in Hampshire and offers visitors a glance into the past; steam powered farm machinery, watermills, sawmills, trains and fairground rides can all be seen in fully working order .
October sees the museum opening the steam powered fairground rides to the public in the evenings. Visitors of all ages can experience an autumnal evening of sights and sounds from a bygone age, as well as grabbing a tasty snack from the café after riding the carousels and big wheel!
