From its origins as a small road haulage company, Sussex Transport is proud of its growth since 1990 and now operates a large fleet of HIAB’s, Moffets, 7.5t, curtain siders, sprinters and Arctic’s to a multitude of clients WORLDWIDE!
A dedicated shipping and export team focus on sea freight and air freight, and have recently delivered to Pakistan, Slovenia, Japan, Taiwan, Israel, France and Poland – and that was just last month!
Their success is down to providing a dedicated and well managed transport service to its clients and customers alike. The Sussex Transport team have many years of relevant experience between them and the majority of the staff have been with the company since the early days – providing consistency and a thorough knowledge of the business.
Sussex Transport are regularly asked to collect and/ or deliver to a huge range of businesses; from well known brand names such as WH Smith, Hamleys, Virgin and McLaren to HM Prison Service, Sussex Cricket Club, Schools, Universities and TV Companies. From moving porta cabins, toilet blocks or huge containers on the back of a flat bed lorry, to more obscure requests such as transporting a old rusty steam engine, giant mirror and even an enormous papier mache model of a rabbit.
