This week, we delivered Heras fence panels to the ‘Shakedown Festival’ in Brighton’s Stanmer Park – which has been a popular site for festivals over the years.
Back in the 90’s Stanmer Park held a three day Music Festival which was always extremely popular – this year sees Stanmer hosting the Shakedown Music Festival with acts such as Razorlight and Ed Sheeran appearing to the expected 20,000 crowd!
Stanmer Park is home to a wealth of plant and animal species. Deer, badger and several species of bat live in the woods, and in spring bluebells bring a touch of colour to the woodlands. The park also includes areas of chalk grassland and copses of sweet chestnut and hazel. Stanmer Park is also the venue for the city’s annual Springwatch festival .
Sussex Transport delivered festival equipment such as Heras fence panels, crowd control items, portable toilets and a large storage container using an 18t curtain sider and 26t HIAB truck.
