The London Fire Brigade’s Fireboat Team is responsible for handling an array of response operations up and down the Thames. Working in fast-moving and unpredictable environments means they must have complete confidence in operating their onboard equipment—including their marine stiff boom hydraulic crane, mounted on the front of the fireboat.
This type of crane is crucial for lifting, manoeuvring, and assisting in emergency rescue operations, so regular, professional training is vital to ensure the crew can handle it safely and effectively.
