Sameday, dedicated deliveries are one of the services offered by Sussex Transport.  With a fleet of Moffetts, HIAB’s, 18t, 7.5t, curtain side, flatbed, tail lift and Sprinter vans and trucks, we are able to deliver to your specifications.

Last week we made a dedicated same day delivery to Horley in Surrey and Crawley in Sussex using one of our 7.5t vehicles

Crawley is home to London Gatwick Airport and the busiest single runway airport in the world!  An agreement exists between BAA and West Sussex County Council preventing the building of a second runway until 2019. Nevertheless, consultations were launched in 2002 by the Department for Transport, at which proposals for additional facilities and runways were considered. It was agreed that there would be no further expansion at Gatwick unless it became impossible to meet growth targets at London Heathrow Airport within existing pollution limits

Horley, just over the county border in Surrey was home to the Matbro works which produced forklift trucks from the 1950s to the 1980s and pioneered telescopic handlers.

The bright yellow Teleram 40 and Teleram C machines were very popular with farmers and construction companies.
