Founded in 1990, Sussex Transport, a family-run road haulage and warehousing organisation headquartered in Lancing, has evolved into a dynamic force in the industry. From its roots in Road Haulage and Courier services, we have expanded our scope to include Contract Lift, HIAB Crane division, international freight, contract warehousing, and Pick and Pack services.
Our values of exceptional customer service and a passion for supporting the local community perfectly align with the spirit of this historic competition. Just as every football match is a testament to teamwork, dedication, and passion, we too strive for excellence in serving our customers and partners.
The Sussex Transport Senior Challenge Cup, the longest-running cup competition in the county dating back to 1882-83, embodies the heart and soul of Sussex football. We are honoured to be associated with this legacy and the remarkable talents that grace the field each season. ⚽🌍
Damian Pulford, Managing Director of Sussex Transport, shared, “It’s a privilege for us here at Sussex Transport to be associated with the Senior Cup, a competition steeped in such history locally, and so keenly contested by the very best Sussex football has to offer each season.
“Sport is in our name, and we are proud to now have that name attached to this fantastic competition. Over the years we’ve amassed a collection of sponsorships of local clubs, most recently with Worthing FC, but to now be linked to something county-wide takes our support of sport to another level.”
