We recently worked on an exciting logistics project which included the delivery and positioning of a 10 tonne water treatment tank at a plant in Warwickshire.
After site visits at both Southampton and Studley in Warwickshire, we were tasked with creating a contract lift plan, risk assessment and method statements for both the collection, transportation, delivery and locating onsite of the 40 foot tank.
This lifting operation was undertaken as a full contract lift and was part of an ongoing water treatment test project. The vehicle chosen was our ‘artic crane vehicle‘ with Fassi 82t crane and Volvo Tractor unit.
A second delivery was undertaken the following week of a service module and storage unit.
Once again the weather was on our side and our driver worked together with onsite facilities teams to place the equipment exactly where it was needed for the project.
