One of our latest projects saw us tasked with replacing a 3.5-ton Galletti Spa chiller unit at a commercial site—a challenging operation that required both careful preparation and the right equipment.

The Challenge: Lifting at 36m Radius
The project involved lifting the chiller unit off one of our vehicles after collection and transporting it to the site. Once on site, the chiller had to be carefully craned over the commercial building and placed into position at a radius of 36 metres. Lifting safely at this kind of distance, weight, and height requires a specific lifting approach and equipment selection, which is where our expertise in contract lifts comes into play.
To meet the requirements of the lift, we selected a 110t mobile crane with a 46.9-metre boom—perfect for achieving the necessary reach and weight capacity.
