Greenwich Park is London’s oldest Royal Park, dating back to 1433 and is home to The Royal Observatory and ‘Greenwich Mean Time’.
Sussex Transport made a dedicated delivery of equestrian equipment to the park last week on an artic flatbed lorry, in readiness for the Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon events at the 2012 Olympics.
This month (July) also sees two test events being held here to ensure readiness for the Games in 2012. These events will comprise international competitions in Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon.
